Frequently asked questions.

How much will it cost?

No two stories are alike. That’s why we begin with a free consultation to get to know you and your story. Afterward, we’ll put together a custom quote that fits your project. We do our best to work with different budgets, because your story deserves to be told - no matter what.

How does the process work from start to finish?

We always begin with a free, relaxed conversation to hear about your story and your goals for the film. From there, we plan together - gathering photos, videos, and deciding on interviews if needed. Then comes filming (if it’s part of your project), followed by editing, where everything is carefully shaped into a meaningful narrative. Once your film is ready, you’ll have the chance to review it before we finalize and deliver your finished documentary.

Can I be involved in the creative process?

Absolutely. This is your story, and your voice matters. Some people like to be hands-on and involved in every step, while others prefer to let us take the lead. Either way, we’ll collaborate in the way that feels most comfortable for you.

Do you travel for filming or work remotely?

Both! If you’d like in-person interviews and filming, we can travel to you. But we also work remotely — you can share photos, videos, and even record interviews online. This way, no matter where you are, your story can be told.

What if I’m not comfortable on camera?

That’s very common, and we completely understand. Our interviews are more like gentle conversations, not performances. We limit the size of the filming crew to just 2 people, and we take the time to make you feel at ease. If you prefer, your story can also be told through voiceover, photos, and existing footage instead.

Can I review and give feedback on the edit?

Yes, of course. After the first cut of your film is ready, we’ll share it with you and welcome your thoughts. You’ll have the opportunity to request changes, so the final version feels just right.

Will my film be shared publicly or stay private?

That’s entirely up to you. By default, your documentary is private and delivered only to you. If you’d like to keep it within your family, it stays there. If you’re open to sharing it more widely (on our website or social media), we’ll only do so with your permission.
